                                         GAMO HUNTER 440

A very pretty break barrel from Gamo. The Hunter 440 is Gamo's offering for those with more traditional tastes. No plastic barrel shroud, a mainspring instead of the IGT gas ram and a lovely checkered beech stock. 

That isn't to say that the Hunter 440 is old fashioned however, the rifle still features fibre optic open sights for more accurate shooting during low light conditions and the scope rails is Gamo's "RRR" (Recoil Reducing Rail) which eliminates almost 100% of the stresses that impact a scope during the shot cycle. 

The Hunter 440 is also fitted with a two stage adjustable trigger and the safety has been ergonomically placed in front the of the trigger blade. 

To seal the deal the Hunter 440 comes with a 4x32WR scope to get you shooting right away. 

Despite the rifle lacking the technology of some of Gamo's other offerings, for me personally I find the Hunter 440 to be the unsung hero of their entire break barrel line-up!
