A smart close range pesting rifle or introductory rifle for those on a budget. The Rossi Sport is a tried and true break barrel air rifle that comes in a tough synthetic stock designed to take all of the knocks you can throw at it. 

Thanks to the dovetail rail the Sport is also compatible with a scope, something that you might not find on a cheap rifle however is the anti-creep block built into the rear of the rail. Another lovely touch is the fibre optic adjustable open sights for better sight acquisition in low light conditions. 

The cocking action is also lovely and light and with a weight of only 5.8lbs the rifle is incredibly easy to handle. 

The Sport is a genuinely lovely little rifle and a brilliant little shooter.

                                           ROSSI DIONE 5G

Rossi's gas ram break barrel that once again proves you can get a brilliant rifle for under £100! The Dione 5G is another easy to handle rifle that would make an excellent beginners rifle or close range vermin airgun. 

The Dione as mentioned uses a gas ram instead of the traditional spring found on most break barrels, this means no "Twang!" during the shot cycle and due to the nature of a gas ram you can leave the rifle cocked for far longer than a spring without risk of damage. 

The Dione 5G isn't done there however, the rifle also comes with a set of fibre optic sights for better accuracy at low light conditions and a dovetail rail with anti-creep block can also be found atop the action. So it's also scope capable as well! 

The safety has also been ergonomically positioned in front of the trigger blade which is another nice touch. The absolute stand out thing about the Rossi however is the adjustable trigger itself, it's a genuinely lovely little unit straight out of the box with a proper second stage! You don't usually get that on a sub £200 rifle let alone sub £100!!

As a side note the bluing is also superb especially for such a cheap rifle.

                                                            ROSSI DIONE PCP

Proving that even PCP's don't need to be expensive. The Dione PCP is another eye catching rifle from Rossi that comes with a ton of performance to suit not just beginner shooters but those looking for a serious target or pest control rifle. 

Despite the low cost the Dione is a high power multi-shot PCP, to keep the hunters happy a moderator is also included with the rifle. 
To cycle the mags the Dione is fitted with a silky smooth biathlon side lever which is much easier to operate from the prone position compared to the traditional bolt action.

One of my personal favourite features are the fibre optic open sights, something that's sadly a rarity with most PCP's. That being said a Picatinny scope rail is also built into the action. 

The trigger is also a lovely two-stage unit with the safety being built into the blade like many high end air rifles. 

The tough synthetic stock also features sling studs as standard which can also be used to mount a bipod if necessary. 

The rifle is also incredibly small and light at only 38" and 5.8lbs making it very easy to handle for all shapes and sizes of shooter.

Much like the previous break barrels the Dione PCP offers a ton of performance for the money. Whether it's being used for target work or hunting the Dione is a serious bit of kit.
